more Pownces up for grabs

No. I'm not selling them on eBay. But I've got six more Pownce invites. First come, first served by commenting on my blog.

And while you are at, feel free to take "which social network poll?" on my blog. Its a completely unscientific experiment, allowing me to test out blogger's new polling feature (not that polling is new by any means), and I'm just curious how may people will check it out.

Update: Sorry for not posting sooner. But I'm now out of Pownce invites

Startups at MAX - Great place to show RIA innovation

There has been a sudden wave of info about MAX, and I know a lot of people are already signed up.

One of the things I was helping out with over the past months was putting together a chance for smaller companies to showcase their efforts via a sponsorship that fit their budgets and resources. Being at MAX can help a startup build buzz, user community, as well as find qualified employees. So we're thinking this may be a good fit for companies like eyejot, scrapblog, picnik, viddler and many others. This year, I think the "Start up City" at MAX is going to be one of the coolest places to see some of the innovative work in the community.

Here's the criteria. Your company cannot be publicly traded, cannot have more than 150 employees, and you can only sponsor at this level once. (You won't be able to do this next year.)
There is some additional information on the MAX website at http://www.adobemax2007.com/sponsor/

But if you want more info the best thing to do is to contact Salim Shaikh at 650 226 0713 (Direct), 415 810 3096 (Mobile) or salim.shaikh@gpj.com

Who wants to Pownce?

I recently signed up for Pownce, a new service thats a spin off of the Digg team, and has what seems to be a very slick AIR desktop client.

Normally when I sign up for these things I seem to have to wait a very long time to get in, and by then I've lost interest. But this morning I logged into my email to be surprised by an invitation to check out Pownce. Now all I need are some people to test it out with. So I have 6 invitations to Pownce. First to pounce on it, first served. (I know that was terrible, but I just couldn't resist.) Just comment on my blog, and leave me an email address in the comment.

Sorry, I just gave away my last invite. If I get more, I'll try to share them here
